Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), has urged the current president of the association to take action against lawyers who are using the media as a platform to argue and debate the allegations of certificate forgery against President Bola Tinubu.
Agbakoba expressed his dismay at seeing lawyers on national television discussing this matter, emphasizing the need for restraint and respect for the Supreme Court's decision.
He called for an end to the cacophony of voices surrounding the Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar certificate controversy, stating that this public discourse was heating up Nigeria dangerously and that the Supreme Court should be allowed to make a binding judicial pronouncement on the issue.
