A video that went viral on Wednesday morning features Senate President Godswill Akpabio stating that money has been sent to all Senators by the National Assembly's clerk for their holiday enjoyment.
Akpabio addressed his colleagues before the adjournment motion, mentioning that the clerk of the National Assembly had sent funds to their accounts to facilitate their holidays.
Later, Akpabio retracted the statement and stated that the Senate President had sent prayers to their mailboxes for a safe journey during the holidays.
