Abia State is scheduled to implement the Treasury Single Account (TSA) system by September 1, 2023, marking a significant transition in our financial operations.
The introduction of this system aims to consolidate all state revenue and payments, resulting in improved transparency and efficiency. During a recent town-hall meeting, which included representatives from the state's transport unions and market leaders, I emphasized the numerous advantages of our new digital tax system.
This advanced system is designed to combat fraudulent activities, streamline the process of tax payments, empower our citizens, stimulate job creation, and attract potential investors.
I urge all stakeholders to embrace this transformative change, as it is undoubtedly in the best interest of Abia State and its people.
