Nyesom Wike expressed his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for nominating him as a minister in his cabinet. During the ministerial screening at the National Assembly, Wike stated that he believes President Tinubu will not regret his nomination.
He highlighted his passion for Nigeria and his commitment to supporting the President's efforts in addressing the country's challenges. Wike is the only Peoples Democratic Party chieftain nominated in the ministerial list sent by the President to the Senate.
