Mahdi Shehu responded to Vice President Shettima Kashim's speech with a strong message. He called for the exposure of the hidden identities behind the oil cabals, comparing them to masked individuals in a masquerade. Shehu challenged those who claim to be truthful to their words to unmask these individuals or, if they are inclined, to join the cabals in order to secure personal benefits and gain entry as an apprentice.
Shehu pointed out that Nigeria currently produces approximately 1.67 million barrels of oil per day as of early this year, with an export volume of 1.380 million barrels per day. He highlighted the fact that tankers arrive regularly to fill their tanks with nearly 2 million barrels of crude oil. Shehu posed a question, asking the audience to guess the number of tankers that come daily to transport Nigeria's crude oil for export.
