TINUBU FILLS 2,000 VACANCIES


President Bola Tinubu plans to address a significant number of vacancies by appointing individuals to over 2,000 positions. 


This decision follows the dissolution of governing boards for more than 153 agencies, parastatals, institutions, and government-owned companies earlier this week. 


Notable among the organizations with vacant board slots are the North-East Development Commission, which has 12 positions available, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission with seven seats, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board with seven positions, the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria with 21 slots, the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund with 12 openings, the National Universities Commission with 21 opportunities, the Transmission Commission of Nigeria with 14 vacancies, the National Health Insurance Authority with 12 positions, the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau with seven slots, the Nigerian Meteorological Agency with seven positions, the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology with eight openings, the Nigerian Police Trust Fund with eight slots, the Nigerian Natural Medicine Development Agency with 10 positions, the Federal Institute of Industrial Research with 11 vacancies, the National Centre for Technology Management with 11 openings, the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute with 11 slots, the Nigerian Customs Service with 11 opportunities, the National Pension Commission with 17 positions, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons with 11 slots, the National Identity Management Commission with 19 vacancies, the West Africa Examination Council with eight positions, the Niger Delta Development Commission with 13 slots, the National Institute of Sports with 12 opportunities, the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Company with 12 positions, the National Bureau of Statistics with 15 vacancies, the Federal Inland Revenue Services with 15 openings, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria with eight slots, and the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency with seven positions, among others.
