Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, extended his warm greetings to the Muslim community in Abia and beyond on the occasion of Eid el Kabir, saying, "May you have a joyful Eid celebration!"
Drawing inspiration from the unwavering faith of Prophet Ibrahim in God, let us also offer our prayers and support to our leaders as we strive to bring prosperity to Abia State. In line with our campaign commitments, we have taken decisive steps to address pressing issues by declaring emergencies in the areas of environment, health, and education. Moreover, we are dedicated to ensuring timely payment of salaries to our hardworking civil servants.
Our efforts are focused on the transformation of Aba and Umuahia, with a particular emphasis on enhancing the ease of doing business and revamping our revenue systems.
Nevertheless, we recognize that peace is an indispensable ingredient for progress. Hence, I urge everyone to abide by the law, maintain harmonious relationships, and contribute to the overall tranquility of our state.
