At approximately 12:39 pm, Kashim Shettima returned to his duties at the Vice President's wing of the State House in Abuja. Addressing the State House correspondents from his office, the Vice President emphasized his and his principal, Bola Tinubu's, dedication to improving the lives of the Nigerian populace.
When questioned about the prevailing fuel scarcity resulting from the president's recent decision to eliminate fuel subsidies during his inauguration, Shettima echoed the president's assurance of brighter times ahead for Nigeria.
