On May 10, 2023, the POWA Skills Acquisition Centre in Abuja was commissioned by Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, accompanied by Her Excellency, Chioma Uzodimma.
The Centre was constructed under the leadership of the POWA President, Hajiya Hajara Usman Alkali Baba.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, including the Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi, Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, CFR, Chairman PSC, Dr. Solomon Arase, IGP (rtd), and Members of the Force Management Team.
