INNOSON MOTORS: SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED TO TOP UTME STUDENT


Ejikeme Joy, the top-performing candidate in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for the 2023 academic year, has been awarded a N3 million scholarship by Innoson Vehicles, a Nigerian automobile manufacturer established by Chief Dr Innocent Chukwuma OFR. The scholarship is a demonstration of the company's commitment to academic excellence and investment in the education of young Nigerians.


The scholarship will provide financial support to Ejikeme Joy, an indigene of Enugu State who resides in Nnewi with her father, an Okada rider, for her tertiary education over the next five years. Innoson Vehicles' decision to reward academic excellence with a scholarship is commendable and serves as an inspiration for other students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.


The scholarship award is a testament to Innoson Vehicles' dedication to empowering young Nigerians and investing in the future of the nation. The company will continue to demonstrate its commitment to social responsibility through various initiatives, including job creation, support for local communities, and scholarship awards.


Ejikeme Joy, a student of Anglican Girls Secondary School in Nnewi, Anambra state, achieved an impressive score of 362 in the UTME, with 98% in English Language, 89% in Physics, 94% in Biology, and 81% in Chemistry. Joy expressed gratitude to the Chairman for the scholarship and promised to make him proud.
