Goodluck Jonathan, the former president of Nigeria, expressed his views on the swearing-in ceremony held on May 29, 2023.
He emphasized that the current challenges in Nigeria can be attributed to the actions of the INEC Chairman. Nigerians have lost faith in the credibility of Bola Tinubu's victory due to INEC's failure to uphold transparency and fairness.
Furthermore, Jonathan pointed out that the refusal of INEC to act responsibly has led to Muhammadu Buhari handing over power to a member of his own political party.
