In Lagos State, the National Drug Law Enforcement agency (NDLEA) has discovered illicit drugs concealed in soap bars weighing 1.54 kilograms at a courier house.
The agency's Director of Media & Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, made the announcement in a statement on Sunday.
This seizure was a continuation of a previous interception on February 23, where 3.389 kilograms of the same drug were seized, and a suspect drug courier, Paul Adetigbe, was apprehended.
The Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) officers of NDLEA had discovered blocks of compressed brown methamphetamine, disguised as soap bars, weighing 1.54 kilograms and destined for Australia.
