According to Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, the Dangote Refinery will ensure Nigeria's energy and petroleum security.
Mohammed made this statement on Monday at the Dangote Refinery's inauguration in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos.
He said: This is a momentous day for Nigeria. It is a day that will be remembered as the day Nigeria got Independence from economic and power issues.
“We now have a refinery capable of producing 650,000 barrels of crude oil per day. What this means is that there would be PMS production, AGO and kerosene and would lead to fuel and energy sufficiency in Nigeria.”
