Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari bid farewell to Eagle Square in Abuja on Monday as he embarked on his journey back to his hometown of Daura, located in Katsina State.
Buhari's departure coincided with the swearing-in ceremonies of Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima as the new President and Vice President, respectively.
The former President boarded a plane at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, destined for Katsina.
