Rev. Daniel Oluwafeyiropo, popularly known as Bishop Feyi, was on Monday arraigned at an Ikeja High Court for sexual offenses and domestic violence for raping two members of the church, remanded in prison. Justice Ramon Oshodi transferred the founder of 'I Lead Christian Ministries' to Kirikiri Correctional Center pending bail conditions.
Oshodi furnished a bond of N20 million with two sureties of the same amount. One of the sureties must be the owner of the property accrued in Lagos State and its value must be sufficient to cover the value of the surety.
“The original land title deed must be filed with the Lagos State Registrar General. “The surety must reside within the jurisdiction of the court and must pay taxes to Lagos State for three years,” he said.
Bishop Fayi had previously been charged with two counts of rape. On the other hand, he did not confess to the charges.
According to prosecutors, the suspect committed the offense in June 2020 at his residence Ikota Villa in Leki, Lagos.
