In the southern part of Nigeria, nobody remember those in the rural areas. Those that live in the cities did not see or acquired the new naira notes. Some slept in the bank in attempt to swap their hard earned money. Some others were busy scanning and suffering on how to get the new naira note and still were unable to get it before the CBN deadline.
Both CBN and ordinary banks in the South frustrated a lot of people, this is hard truth.
While in the northern part of Nigeria, CBN bought special vehicles to convey the new naira notes to people in their various domains.
Observers were quick to ask, is this one Nigeria? Why are some people treated much more differently from other's company?
