Early on Sunday, January 15, 2023, Fathers' House (Rectory) of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kafin-Koro Deanery Rev. Fr Issac Achi was burnt to ashes at his residence in Kafin-Koro by bandits and his assistant, Father Colin's Omeh, who suffered a gunshot wound, was rushed to the hospital.
Highly Rev. Senior Priest Fr. Isaac ACHI served the Catholic Diocese of Minna in Nigeria's Niger State. In addition, he served as the Dean of the Kafin Koro Deanery and Parish Priest of the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kafin Koro, Niger State.
The opposition is physically assaulting the Church in Nigeria. The Christian communities experience constant fear.
