The former Governor of Rivers State, Peter Odili reacted on the Peter Gregory Obi's statement that has gone rival on a social media that Peter Odili was his senior at CKC, and they played football together.
"Peter Odili was my senior at CKC, we played football together. If Odili is not able to play, just know we have lost that day. Everyone knows where I schooled and my schoolmates. Not some people that no one knows their schoolmates or the schools the attended".
Obi made this statement when commissioning newly constructed Ikokwu flyover in Rivers State, Thursday 17th of November, 2022.
Many saw it as fake that the labour Party (LP) Presidential flag bearer, Peter Obi lied against his age since he played football together with Peter Odili means they were school mate and also of the same age too.
In reaction, Peter Odili explained; "Yes Peter Obi was a junior student when I was the senior prefect of CKC school, He was the most intelligent, smart, hardworking junior student then. To the extent he was the only junior student in CKC that followed the senior students in debating and mathematics competition, He was loved by all the school teachers, students and school principal then."
