Despite the campaign for Biafra, Ebonyi State Governor Dave Umahi has stated that Igbos will remain in Nigeria.
On Tuesday, Umahi made this declaration in the Presidential Villa.
Umahi's visit to Aso Rock was to thank Buhari for his two day official visit to Ebonyi State which took place on May 5th and 6th
The people, according to Umahi, are pleased with Nigeria's leader and enjoy his presence.
He refuted the claim that Nigerians in the South-East had lost interest in the country.
Igbos, according to the governor, are opposed to any type of agitation or intentions to secede.
