Peter Nwachukwu, late Osinachi Nwachukwu's husband, was condemned to death by hanging by the Attorney-General of the Federation.
The federal government has charged Peter Nwachukwu, the late popular gospel artist Osinachi's husband, with 23 counts of assault. Osinachi died on April 8 after he allegedly assaulted her.
The Attorney-General of the Federation charged him under sections 104 and 379 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015.
The defendant was charged with culpable homicide, which is punishable by death by hanging under Section 221 of the Penal Code.
