In recent speech by US President Joe Biden, he said "I want to be clear, we will defend every inch of NATO territory with full might of a united and galvanised NATO."
In continuation he added,... but we will not fight a war against Russia in Ukraine territory.
He further stressed that, "a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia is world war lll. Its something we must strive to prevent"
