On January 4, police officers from the Enugu Metro Area Command of the Enugu State Police Command arrested 52-year-old Ifeanyi Amadikwa, pictured above, of 74 Nkwubor Road, Emene, Enugu, for allegedly murdering and dumping his three female children, namely Chidalum Amadikwa, 11 (his step-daughter), Amarachi Amadikwa, 8, and Ebubechukwu Ama
The suspect's wife, who is also the mother of the children, walked to the market with her sole male child, leaving the others in the suspect's supervision, according to preliminary investigation. However, when she returned in the evening of the specified date, she was unable to locate any of the three youngsters.
While looking for them, the suspect pointed out the fridge he had brought back to her.
