Ahmed Umar Goni, the 16 year old SS2 student of Elkanami College of Islamic Theology, Maiduguri, had slit the throat of his fellow student aged 11, Jubril Sadi Mato a JSS one student of the same college.
During his interview by the journalists, Ahmed Goni said that he deliberately committed the offence in order to draw the attention of his parents to remove him from the boarding school.
People from the area said that the parents of Ahmed are wealthy and have wanted to cover the offence of their child. Ahmed committed the offence on 15th January, 2022, around 10:05.
the Senior Secondary School 2 student of the Elkanemi College of Islamic Theology in Maiduguri, Borno state, has been identified Umar Goni, and it was gathered that he slit the throat of his victim identified as Jibrin Sadi Ramadan with razor during an encounter behind the hostel of the school is receiving treatment on the intensive unit of Government Hospital. It was revealed that Umah has stopped talking as result of the ugly incident.
