On Sunday 24th October, 2021 Ohanaeze Ndigno Worldwide, kicked against one week sit at home declared by IPOB.
IPOB had earlier announced that there will be one week sit at home if Nnamdi Kanu was not released forthwith.
Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, said ndị Igbo will not honour this call as this will unleash untold hardship to the people. It will clap down both commercial and industrial life of the people. He further added that boycotting of Anambra election will interrupt southeast calendar and cabmn be better described as nonsensical aburd and anti - Igbo agenda, as well as amusement for enemies.
In addition, he described the order as enslavement of Ndigbo.
“IPOB should revisit and nullify the one-week sit-at-home or they will likely lose the support of the Ndigbo henceforth, Ndigbo must participate in Anambra election and nothing should stop it”.
He cautioned that such orders if implemented would give a particular political party an edge in the election.
