Amenze Rita, a 31-year-old Nigerian lady, was allegedly shot dead by her husband in Italy after she filed for divorce.
On Friday morning, September 10, in Noventa Vicentina, Amenze was slain in front of her coworkers in the parking lot of Mf Mushroom, a company where she worked.
The suspect, Pierangelo Pellizzar, 61, was said to have set up an ambush for the deceased around 7:30 a.m. and shot her four times, killing her instantly.
After killing Amenze, he allegedly fled the scene in a grey Jeep Cherokee, which was subsequently discovered abandoned at his brother's residence.
The carabinieri, on the other hand, are currently on the lookout for the culprit, who is claimed to be armed and dangerous.
Amenze was reportedly killed because she filed for divorce after returning from Nigeria a week ago, according to Italian media.
It was also learned that late Amenze arrived in Italy via Libya in 2017 and married an Italian man in 2018 making it three years ago of marriage.
