Femi Falana, a human rights lawyer, has made it know to President Buhari that every attempt by his government to drag Nigeria back to 1984 will be fully resisted by Nigerians.
This disclosure was made at 13th Wole Soyinka's Centre Media Lecture Series, to commemorate his 87th birthday.
Femi Falana frowned at the kind of treatment that was melted to IPOB Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho is similar to what happened in the year 1984,when Umaro Diko was kidnapped in London.
Falana, he said that Kenyan GOVT has denied having any hand in kidnapping of any Nnamdi Kanu in their country. He added that Nnamdi Kanu could possibly be drugged before he was brought back to Nigeria. Furthermore, he said, interpol cannot deport anyone without due process.
He stress that it will be impossible to stop Nigerians from protesting as long as the government did not the right thing.
