BIAFRA DAY: IGBOS IN THE EASTERN PART OF THE COUNTRY OBSERVERED TOTAL LOCKDOWN WITH 100% COMPLIANCE

Commercial activities came to a halt on Monday, 31st May 2021 across South-East states and section of South-South as residents deserted the streets in full compliance with the sit-at-home order issued by Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

IPOB, through its Spokeman, Emma

Mazi Powerful, had made the announcement earlier in vehicular. He said that human movements would be restricted across the Biafra  region to mark the 54th anniversary of Biafra.

The order was said to have  recorded a hundred percent compliance  across all the Igbo speaking states in the South-East region.  Residents were seen in their various homes, while business operations came to a  total halt on that Monday.
