ENUGU CATHOLIC DIOCESE PLANS TO SUSPEND MBAKA FROM THE PULPIT FOR ONE MONTH

 



The Authority Enugu Catholic Diocese has planned to keep the Chrismatic Enugu priest, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka for 30 days.


There was heavy protest in Enugu on Wednesday over the missing of their Priest, Father Mbaka.


The Catholic Cleric fellowers destroyed the property of the Catholic Bishop Enugu because they were looking for their priest whom it was reported to have summoned to the Bishops house. 


Some of these were the photos of Enugu Bishop House that was destroyed by Father Mbaka's followers.






The Cleric addressed his members when he returned yesterday, May 5, 2021 at the Adoration ground in Umuchigbo Nike, Enugu revealed why he was summoned by the Bishop and his two days ordeal. 


He said, he was kept incommunicado. 

The Authority presented a lot of issues against him after which the Church leadership, led by Bishop Calistus Onaga who planned to keep him indoors for 30 days for blessing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). A period that will allow him to pray and mediate over his activities.


Mbaka said he requested that he should be allowed to come and address his parishioners after which he would shut down, they refused. He also pleaded to allow him send another priest to go and celebrate mass for him today, they said No. 


The Bishop, upon seeing the protest over his predicament allowed him to go. 


One of the things presented against him was why he bless Nnamdi Kanu. 


He answered: “Are you the owner of my mouth? You can’t tell me who to bless? If you are not happy that I blessed someone, you have your own mouth, you can curse the person,” he declared.
