US AIR FORCE FLEW TO NIGERIA TO RESCUE SON OF A MISSIONARY

US Air Force Special Operations flew Navy seals to Nigeria in order to rescue the son of a missionary, Philip Walton who was kidnapped on Tuesday morning by armed Fulani herdsmen with AK-47 assault rifles in Niger republic and later smuggled into Nigeria through Nigeria border.

The kidnappers demanded the sum of $1 million ransom from victim's father who has lived in Niger for 30 years.

30 US Navy Commandos parachuted into the remote area today to where  the kidnappers took Philip.

It was gathered that the CIA provided intelligence leading to Philip's whereabouts while the Marine Special Operations elements in Africa helped to locate him. They hiked about three miles till they came upon the captor's small encampment.

Finally, Philip was rescued and whisked from the camp to a makeshift landing zone where a US helicopter brought him safely.
