A former Ghanaian military leader, and later turned civilian president, who ruled between 1981 to 2001, served two terms in office as a democratically elected president of Ghana.
He used his tenure in office to deal with Ghana's corrupted politicians and reduced corruption in the country to barely minimum.
He died on 12th November 2020 in Korie Bụ Teaching Hospital, Accra, Ghana.
He was born in 22nd of June, 1947.
