Anambra police officers arrested one Mr Emeka Ezimadu age 47 for allegedly murdered his two kids and 85 year-old mother with cutlass while they were at sleep.
The incident happened on Thursday, 17th September 2020 at Okpuneze Uruagu in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra.
It was gathered that the suspect also inflicted injuries on three of his kids name; Nonso Ezimadu 12, Chinaemerem Ezimadu 11 and Ngosi Ezimadu 8.
The victims were rushed to Akwudo hospital where doctor certified his aged mother, Agnes Ezimadu, two of his kids Ifechukwu Ezimadu 9 and Ifeoma Ezimadu 2 dead and their corpses deposited morgue for autopsy while the three other kids are receiving treatment.
The state police command spokesperson, SP Haruna Mohammed said that the victim's case has been transferred to State CID Awka for more investigation.
