The Nigerian first lady, Aisha Buhari has confirmed President Muhammadu Buhari's marriage saying that she is already a married woman in her matrimonial home. Therefore, she is not bothered.
She made this statement in an interview in BBC Hausa Excerpts on Monday being October 14, 2019.
She has this to say:
"I don't know what happened because I was not around. I'm not the one who was getting married. It was the President."
"But the person who was told the President will marry her, the people that told her the President will marry her, she never thought the wedding will not hold, because she waited and when it never held she came out to dispute it."
"So, because of that I'm not the one to say whether there will be wedding or not. I'm already a married woman in her matrimonial home. I'm not bothered."
