The Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbe reported that Hausa farmers allegedly use sniper to preserve their beans and rice.
Sniper is a substance that is highly acidic chemical that is capable of killing anything that comes in contact with it, including human beings.
Therefore, Nigerians are advised to wash thoroughly and parboil all grains and cereals before cooking, throw away the first water and use another water to finish the cooking.
