The Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Elisha Abbo was on Friday noon granted bail after spending the night in police custody.
He surrendered himself to the Federal Capital Territory Police (FCT) Command on Thursday for questioning over assault on a nursing mother.
He came over the viral video in which he was seen physically assaulting a lady at an adult toy shop in Abuja.
FCT police commissioner, Bala Ciroma, said that Abbo was released on Friday after meeting a set of administrative conditions for his bail but didn't mention the bail conditions which the senator met.
