A Veteran and politician, Senator Desmond Elliot lamented on how foreign movies have affected Nigeria movies industries negatively.
He urged Federal government to ban foreign movies as it has made Nollywood not to grow. By preventing importation of foreign movies will help for the growth of local content.
"Government has to ban the importation of foreign movies so that Nollywood can grow. Make it difficult for foreign content to come in, so your local content can grow," Desmond Elliot.
Nollywood that can not even last for long when.
When Nollywood is Nollywood you will watch it like 1 hour 30mins but now it can not even last before.
As a result many Nigerians enjoyed watching foreign movies like: Rambow, terminator, army of darkness, Jack Chan, van Dan, iron monkey, the four, nine tail fox, naked soldiers and naked weapon, expandable, daracular, we are soldiers, detal force by chuk Norris, deep blue sea, mystery journey, etc.
