ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT RECEIVES TWO AWARD WINNERS — EJIKE ABANA



"Anambra State government has received two indigenes who won prestigious National and International Awards.


Governor Willie Obiano stressed that the honour underscores the importance which the State government attaches to excellent service.


The brief ceremony was performed during the State Executive Council Meeting at the Government House, Awka.


The award winners are the Director of the Anambra State Library Board, Dr. Nkechi Udeze who was named the winner of the first prize of the 2018 Nigeria Library Association in the Public Library category, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Renewed Initiative Against Diseases and Poverty (RENAGAIDS), who won the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief Heroes Award (PEPFAR).

Governor Obiano appreciated them for making the State Proud."
