'USE YOUR GOODWILL TO SPEAK UP FOR LEAH' — RENO OMOKRI TELLS PASTOR KUMUYI

Reno Omokri has urged the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry Pastor William Kumuyi to use hid influence and goodwill to speak up for Leah Sharibu that kidnapped by Boko Haram Terrorists since last year.

"‪I appeal to the respected Pastor William Kumuyi to use his considerable influence and goodwill to speak up for Leah Sharibu. Muhammadu Buhari has 8 different spokespeople to speak for him. He does not need another one. Leah has none. If you Google Kumuyi and Buhari, you will come up with multiple instances when this great man of God has publicly spoken up for Muhammadu Buhari. But if you Google Kumuyi and Leah Sharibu, you cannot find even one instance where this man of God has spoken of for Leah. Please sir, be Leah’s voice #FreeLeahSharibu #RenosNuggets."

"‪Please don’t take my word. Do the Google exercise yourself. It breaks my heart. I wept. I feel heavy saying this. But I am left with no choice. Men of God should be speaking for the weak, not for the strong. Jesus said “whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do to me”.‬

"Dear Olagoke Opeyemi Kehinde:

"The conversation is not about what attack means. That is past. I am appealing to your pastor to add his voice to the #FreeLeahSharibu movement. I am asking him to consider visiting her mother the way he visited Buhari at Aso Rock. I am asking him to remember that when John The Baptist was in prison, Jesus and the body of believers spoke up for him. I am asking him to remember that Jesus said “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."-John 13:35. What love have we got for Leah when we are not raising her case publicly? Secret love is no love. So please this is not about the semantics of what ‘attack’ means. This is about Leah Sharibu."
