The Senator representing the Delta State Central Senatorial district, Ovie Omo-Agege a Nigerian lawyer has been elected as Deputy President of the Senate in Nigerian 9th Senate.
He secured 68 votes while Ikeh Ekweremadu scored 37 votes.
Ovie is from Orogun in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
