OHANAEZE YOUTH COUNCIL ALLEGED FULANI HERDSMEN OF PREPARING FOR WAR AGAINST NDI IGBO

"The Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) the Apex socio-cultural cum political organization of all Igbo Youths after a security emergence meeting held in Owerri yesterday over the demand of Fulani Herdsmen to have Fulani vigilant group in Igbo Land. The President General of Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) Comr. Igboayaka O. Igboayaka after the meeting stated as follows;

That Ndi Igbo are the most loving and peaceful race in the project of one Nigeria since 1960 till date, and have maintained a peaceful co-existence among other tribes and ethnic Nationalities.

That  the demand of Fulani herdsmen to establish Fulani vigilant group is a way of instituting militia terrorist group in disguises in Igbo land in preparation to  launch an attack against the peaceful loving people of Igbo race.

Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) described the demand as a deliberate plan to invade Igbo land and stir-up 2nd Biafra civil war. OYC noted that Fulani herdsmen were known as a mere cattle-rearing but since president Mohammed Buhari took over in 2015 herdsmen has become "hit-men" terrorizing  the whole country.

That considering the ill-intention of herdsmen to have vigilant group Ohanaeze Youth Council(OYC) gave  president  Mohammed Buahri 24 hours to call herdsmen to order to cancel such evil and tribalistic demand or Ndi Igbo will accept the mute of president Mohammed Buhari over this issue  as a process of stoking the second Nigeria Biafra Civil War

Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) opted that with all indication if after 24 hours Ndigbo didn’t hear a message from Mr. President we will also describe his neglect on this security issues that boiling the nation as having plan to divide Nigeria and Mr. President will be seen as a Separatist or Secessionist in Nigeria project. 

In all indication, Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) wish to affirm that the Lopsided political appointment and arrangement of Mr. President to the North is a stark neglection of Federal Character, which is a demonstration that since 1960 till date this is the first time Nigeria is producing a secessionist president. In all ramification Mr. President is encouraging secession in Nigeria with his consideration sided only among Hausa/Fulani affairs.

On this note, Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) alert EU,UN, and AU that President Mohammed Buhari policies against Ndi Igbo is a deliberate act to cause another civil war in Nigeria and an attempt to secede Nigeria against the mission of the founding fathers of Nigeria.

OYC recall the out-cry of the governor of Ebonyi State His Excellency David Umahi how Fulani herdsmen went on rampage, killed and raped Igbo women in their farm land, and no security measure was taken by the president, till today no one was arrested against such brutality against our mothers and children.

Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) therefore affirmed  that considering the Lacuna and security porous recently in Nigeria, president Mohammed Buhari body language will encourage over 30 million Igbo Youths to pick arm on self-defense.

OYC noted that since the inception  of President Mohammed Buhari administration Nigeria  has been having transformation of militia groups, from Boko haram attack to herdsmen attack, Bandit attack and kidnapping attack all over the Northern Nigeria with the same mission and the same people.

Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) therefore, urge the National Assembly of Igbo extraction to present at the red and green chamber a motion to set-up a committee to probe the intention of herdsmen to have Fulani vigilant group in South East with 16 market days, or face the blame of massive insecurity of life and property in Igbo land. 

Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) call on Nigeria Security Agencies, Nigeria Police Force(NPF) and State Security Service(SSS) to deploy every intelligence to ascertain and probe the intention of such suspicious demand from herdsmen, stressing that such demand has raised tension in Nigeria.  

Furthermore, Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) demand that all the governors of Igbo extraction Abia, Imo, Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi, Delta, Rivers, Cross River, Edo, Benue, Kogi and Akwa-Ibom to strengthen all the communities Youth vigilant group in their state with every logistics for effective security job in all the rural communities in IGBOLAND. 

Ohanaeze Youth Council(OYC) warned the herdsmen to do their peaceful businesses in Igbo land and desist from waking a hungry sleep lion of Eastern Nigerians."
