The President Muhammadu Buhari has approved six railway projects to be set up across Nigeria.
The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi said that the railway will start from Port-Harcourt to Maiduguri passing through Enugu, Lafia, Makurdi, Gombe, and will have branches in Owerri, Onitsha, Awka, Abakaliki, Yola, Jalingo, and Damaturu.
Also there will be another one at Itapke-Aladja (Warri) to Abuja and Warri Port.
The railway will have connection with Bonny Island Deep Sea Port from Port-Harcourt. While Port-Harcourt is the development of railway industrial Park.
