RCCG PASTOR COMMITS SUICIDE IN ABUJA

Pastor Michael Arowosaiye of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has allegedly hanged himself with a belt at his home in Sunnyvale Estate on 14th May 2019 in Abuja. 

It was gathered that the deceased was under depression as a result of accommodation issues he was facing and decided to solve it ones and for all by committing suicide.

I think late Michael lived all his life in pretense. He spent his life pretending to be who he was not...

He pretended to be a christian which he was not? How could he have committed suicide if he were a christian? No Christian commits suicide. Yes, any who commits suicide is not a christian...

Michael was said to have committed suicide because he could not pay his bills. Is that enough for a christian to commit suicide? I say no! 

Christ is the sum total of all God's blessings. If you have Christ, you have everything. And being a christian means understanding this spiritual reality. If you don't know this biblical fact, then you are not a christian...

Yes, having Christ which is having everything gives peace. This is not peace of world standard. It is "the peace which passes all understanding" that rules the heart of the believer. 

The believer enjoys peace in Christ irrespective of the challenges he faces in the world. Yes, this is exactly what our Lord Jesus promised us in the following scripture...

These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.  John 16:33.

The believer find peace in Christ. It's the peace that gladdens the heart no matter our surroundings, no matter our situations, no matter our circumstances.

Yes, it's peace in Christ that overcome all the challenges of this present life. It's peace in Christ that ignore all the pains and sorrows of this world. It's the peace in Christ that pass all understanding...

This is the peace that Christ leaves with the believer to overcome the challenges of this present life. This is the peace that Christ gives to the believer to live a triumphant life in this present world.

You can't have Christ and not have this peace, and you can't have this peace and commit suicide... This is the gospel truth!
