A philanthropist Akon who felt guilty wearing jewelries worth of $50,000 while there are people out there who are living in miserable which their lives will be transformed if invested such money on them.
As a result of that, he decided to stop wearing jewelries and invested $1billion in China to provide electricity I Africa.
"I have invested $1 billion in China to provide electricity in Africa. Africa lacks electricity, water, basic infrastructure, there is a lot of progress to be made. And you see the misery, you just want to help, it's no longer a frenzy, I'm not wearing jewelry anymore."
