The President Muhammadu Buhari has signed into law with executive powers to revoke, banish all firearm and remove license in Nigeria that authorized one to bear firearms again.
This law will take effect starting from 1st June 2019. After that no one will be authorized to own or carry a gun in Nigeria.
He said that the only legitimate officials to carry guns are Police officer and army.
Added that even all Civil Defense Corps and other security organization are disqualified from 1st June 2019.
The question is this; Will Fulani herdsmen also among the unauthorized persons that will stop carry/bear firearms starting from 1st June 2019?
