The couple identified as Chinonso and Oluebube Anyanwu from Ibiasiegbe village in Imo State apprehended for selling their 3 day old baby boy at the rate of ₦300,000.
The man Chinonso aged 32 years and wife Oluebube aged 20 years sold their biological child to one Sandra Odimege of Umuezike Amorka in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The SP Haruna Mohammed said that they got the information on on Tuesday, 30th April, around 2.pm from an intelligence reporter, Police detective attached to Area Command Ihiala.
Investigation is still going on after the suspects will be charged to court, he stated.
