The Emirs of Zamfara State urged the Federal Government to block GSM network for six months to curb banditry in Nigeria.
Imagine what somebody is saying in a modern society today, asking Federal government to banned the use of GSM.
Why not ask government to build industries and companies so that the youths will be gainfully employed?
Why not implore the government to work out measures that will benefit the youths?
Some don't reason right, if you shut down GSM while the youths are unemployed you will simply achieve nothing .
Let the government do the needful.
In as much as crime is not good, government is indirectly responsible for some of the actions of the youths. Other countries care for their youths while the reverse is the case here.
Insecurity in the North, is been cause by poverty, hardship, frustrations and low educational level. Let the govt tackle the issue by taking the bull by the horn and address the issue of unemployment first. Not only in the North, but in the entire country. Then the issue of insecurity will die a natural death.
