The Russian man, Leuitenant General Mikhail Kakashnikov (rtd) the founder of AK-47 assault rifle just passed on at the age of 94 years.
AK means 'Avtomat Kalashnikovaa'
Late Leuitenant General Mikhail was an investor, writer, small arms designer and military engineer.
He was famous in development of AK-47 assault rifle and later improved it to AK-74 with the other PK machine gun and RPK light machine gun were later produced.
The AK-47 assault rifle was constructed in such that the capacity can travel to one thousand metres and can kill at the range of 900 metres but can only inflict wounds beyond the range of 900 metres.
