The Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Edo State chapter has banned lawyers from defending notorious criminals.
They ordered the lawyers for immediate withdrawal of an criminal cases registered to defend grievous and felonious offences of kidnapping and armed robbers.
“The branch hereby orders the immediate withdrawal of services of all lawyers registered with it from defending persons charged with the grievous and felonious offences of kidnapping and armed robbery." they stated.
