A 57 years old Nigerian Nollywood actor and comedian Mr. John Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu who is from Nkanu, in Enugu State who rumours spreading around that he is currently down with severe stroke reacted and said "Na their papa get stroke".
Mr Ibu added that he is not suffering from any ailment, that he is hale and hearty.
“Na so I hear oooo. I am hale and hearty. I am speaking from my house, in Lekki.”
“I have been receiving calls from across the world since today. I don’t know who is spreading this false news about me. I don’t know what they saying. Na their papa get stroke.”
According to reports broke out early this week that, Mr Ibu was hit by this strange illness after he came back from his trip to Owerri.
Currently, he has been receiving treatment from undisclosed herbalist who testified that he has started responding to treatment.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) President Mr. Emerald Rollas also confirmed that they are aware of mysterious stroke that has befallen one of their members Mr. Ibu.
He also added Mr. Ibu has fast responding to treatment but he still needs our prayer.
