GOV. IKPEAZU ORGANISES 300 ABIA YOUTHS TO UNDERGO ICT TRAINING


Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu mentioned one of the things his administration will achieve especially this second term.

He said, has created an enabling growth environment for our young people in the state, building and sustaining businesses to global standard.

Accounding to him, 300 Abia Youths will Undergo ICT Training under the Tutelage of Google's Representatives-Innovation Growth Hub (IG HUB).

Comrade Ubani Dannie represented governor Ikpeazu on Friday at the Demo Day of Innovation Growth Hub in Aba.

He made Abia youth umto understand that over 300 Abia Youths will be trained in areas of software development, graphics, website design, etc within the next few days. 

The founder/CEO of IGHUB Mr Daniel Chinagozi stated that their primary aim is to make Abia the top 3 ICT States in the nearest future.

He also unveiled the process through which stage startup heads which include: 

~the footwear academy,  an academy for individuals interested in footwear making.

~clinton innovation Centre, a solar powered invention, technology and entrepreneurship centre. 

~ogwugo,  a platform and tool for successful E-commerce helping small businesses connect with the international market as well as facilitate local trade tool.

~innaga,  a ride hailing application that allows users to request a taxi or private driver through the mobile app on their mobile phones. 

~salesbay,  a business to business supply chain management platform that connects manufacturers and wholesalers to retailers while ensuring trust through an escrow system.

~igmart,  an online store that allows any local business owner to sell more no matter the size of their businesses or even if they have not sold online before. 

The secretary of the Enyimba Economic City Board, Mr Chibuzo Ekekwuo, told Abia youths to make sure they utilize this opportunity of the EEC to actualize their dreams because this project is for them.

He also assured them that this foundation will place this year.
