Rev. Father George Mukua Kageche was one of the 157 passengers of Ethiopian Airline that crashed on 10th March was laid to rest on 22nd March 2019.
The requiem Mass was presided over by the Nairobi archdiocese auxiliary Bishop David Kamau and assisted by several priests.
During the funeral rite, late Father George was described as one who usually dedicates his pastoral work to assisting parishioners at the parish- Juja Farm in deepening their faith in the Small Christian Communities, SCCs in the Parish, which is within the Archdiocese of Nairobi.
"He also assisted in accompanying young people in the Formation House in the parish- Juja Farm for a while," added the Eulogist.
